What is Missionary Aviation

Missionary aviation is a service mission that  helps overcome geographical barriers to spreading the Gospel.  Aviation and technology help to physically and spiritually transform people in the most isolated places of the world.  Missionary aviation serves Christian workers: teachers, evangelists, translators, medical personnel, relief and developmental workers, and many others.  The airplane hauls food, seed, and livestock; transports the sick and injured; delivers doctors, medicine, and relief supplies; and carries the materials to those who need it most—those others cannot reach.  The aircraft provides a safe and reliable form or transportation for those in ministry reducing days of hard travel by foot, horse, canoe, etc. down to mere minutes of flight.  Each year missionary aviation saves hundreds of years of missionary service through transportation as well as giving life saving support to those who live in complete geographical isolation.
